Not all shoes are comfortable to all people, but these work for me. I have no problem with quality as others reviewed, but I understand the fit issues. For me, I must wear padded heel cups. That device is over-the-counter but is a miracle for me. It lifts my feet up enough to not experience any discomfort with the back of the sneaker. That also provides extra cushioning, making even a long day in a theme park tolerable. I particularly like the color, as many sneakers are only in basic colors. I purchase either male or female version. I need to size up on these due to the heel cups, but they are wide without me having to order the wider width. A men's 9 or 9.5 fits as well as a women's 11 taking into account the devices. An odd difference between the male and female shoe is that the men's has a rougher surface and laces, which allow them to not untie themselves. My women's colors have a smooth lace that is annoying to keep tight. I recommend these with perhaps a little extra padding if they do not feel comfortable. Overall, they give a bit of a bounce, unlike any other brand I own. I am a walker, so with that I can recommend for that activity. Finally, I give all of my sneakers a couple of coats of waterproof spray which helps keep them clean and fresh.

We went to the new Nordstrom Rack in Yakima ;) and it was so much fun! Displayed even better than those on the Wet Side (Seattle). The shoe selection, however wasn’t as good. More options would be great! Otherwise, it was really organized and I did find a pair of tennis shoes (was looking for boots). The reason I come here is that the cashier was extraordinary. Jose had pronouns on his apron and I noticed him representing human rights. I then complemented his adorable BLM pin. He literally offered it to me. I was so honored that he shared it with this white woman and will treasure it. Fantastic job hiring him! Keep him and give him a raise, he deserves it ;) ! We love Nordstrom Rack!

Love these NB Fresh Foam Arishi v4's. They perfect for my daily walks. They are the perfect balance (no pun intended lol) between cushioning and stability. I did a lot of research on podiatrist recommended walking shoes before purchasing these. The price point was great (I even got a discount when I registered on the NB website. However even at full price they are still a great value at a great price point). My feet are very happy! I highly recommend these. Your feet and your wallet will thank you!

The shoe itself is very comfortable and light. I can wear them for hours with no pain. The issue for me is the cheap shoe laces. They're made of synthetic fiber and I feel like I'm going to snap them whenever I tie my shoes. Not only that, but they are constantly coming untied when I'm out walking, but when ever I come home and want to untie them, they tangle themselves into a tight knot that takes minutes to unravel. The shoes are great, but if you buy them, do yourself a favor and immediately replace the laces with some better quality ones. Or better yet, New Balance, do some R & D into shoelaces that aren't so awful.
