Very strange pant and as my first introduction to Spanx and their final sale practices on sale collections, not a great first impression. Petite really means petite and even at 5'4" the petite length looks ridiculous. Also, to be perfectly frank, there's a waist gap around the waistband and since there's so buttons or zipper just a thin material that claims to be "shaping", nothing makes it feel solid. Material bunches on the hamstrings and does not look like the photo at all. Most strangely, the pant is basically right up your crotch and as you walk, it rubs against it. There's no other way to describe it and it's not great for a pant. First time I've ever had anything like this and found myself CONSTANTLY pulling them down not knowing what to do with this. NOT Recommended in the slightest!

I love the comfort and ease of wear of these pants. No ironing need. I find these pants and the Ponte flared pants run small. I wear a 28 in pants and I have to go with a large tall in these so that the waistband is not too tight. I wish spanx made in-between sizes as I feel I am not quite a large but definitely not a medium in the majority of their pants and shorts. For reference I am 5'8" 150lbs have a 33 inch inseam amd have an athletic hourglass shape. I'd love to be able to purchase an M/L and thr medium is tight in the waist and good everywhere else and the large bags a bit in the thigh but still looks good but could look better.

I can see why these are called the Perfect Pant. The fabric is nice and thick, without being too heavy. Ultimately, these were not the perfect pant for my body type. I initially ordered the in size Small (as recommended on the size chart) They fit ok in the waist, but were a bit loose in the hips. Also, they bunched weirdly in the crotch. I liked the style and fabric enough to reorder them in an XS. This fit was much better, however, they still bunched in the crotch area. I have this problem frequently with pants that are a higher rise, so I don’t fault the pants. For reference sake, I’m 5’7, 122lbs, with a straight body top, no hips. The pants that fit me in denim are Paige, size 26. NYDJ jeans in a 0 and NYDJ Ponte Knit pants in 00 due to stretchier fabric. Hope this review helps someone like me who had never tried on Spanx pants and are unsure of what size to buy.

Love these pants! The material is thick enough to give some smoothing support, without binding like leggings. The cut is very flattering. I like the high waist, and straight legs. Very flattering fit overall. Worth the cost. Would definitely buy again.
