I can see why these are called the Perfect Pant. The fabric is nice and thick, without being too heavy. Ultimately, these were not the perfect pant for my body type. I initially ordered the in size Small (as recommended on the size chart) They fit ok in the waist, but were a bit loose in the hips. Also, they bunched weirdly in the crotch. I liked the style and fabric enough to reorder them in an XS. This fit was much better, however, they still bunched in the crotch area. I have this problem frequently with pants that are a higher rise, so I don’t fault the pants. For reference sake, I’m 5’7, 122lbs, with a straight body top, no hips. The pants that fit me in denim are Paige, size 26. NYDJ jeans in a 0 and NYDJ Ponte Knit pants in 00 due to stretchier fabric. Hope this review helps someone like me who had never tried on Spanx pants and are unsure of what size to buy.

Love these pants! The material is thick enough to give some smoothing support, without binding like leggings. The cut is very flattering. I like the high waist, and straight legs. Very flattering fit overall. Worth the cost. Would definitely buy again.

Leg length fine, but in spite of measuring carefully twice to get the right size according to Spanx size chart, there was too much extra bulk around the waist and hips. Not a nice look at all. Husband and sister both said Nope Send them back- very unflattering. Cost me to send them back even though I was exactly in the middle of Spanx size chart for a size small. Definitely not suitable for a fit athletic hourglass body type.

These pants are super flattering. When you have the right size, and they run small, the fit and look is great. I am usually a size small in most pants and I needed a medium. They are very comfortable and have enough stretch to move with you, not restrict you. The fabric is heavy and substantial- you will not see cellulite. Best of all, these pants do not attract pet hair. I have cats and usually, anything black is a disaster. But this fabric seems to repel fur.

Overall, pricey but very much worth it!
