Unlike Smbc, I enjoyed this book. I found it intriguing, action packed, and with twists and turns that kept me guessing. Patterson, like many other fiction-writing authors, take topics and events out of the headlines, so I don't fault him for that. I also think if he is being political, a fictional book isn't really the best source to use to drive a political agenda. Relax! Sit back and just read a story--if you don't like an author's writing, then don't read him/her. This book was fast-paced, action packed, and thrilling...I couldn't put it down. I, too, thought about the 45th President, but also thought generally about other political leaders I see demonstrating bad behavior--around the world! Power is very potent--whether a President or someone else--but this is still just a story of fiction. Enjoy it! It was well written and entertaining.

Another recent book by Patterson to toss aside. I am over his left leaning political garbage. From his latest WMC book to blowback..... His most recent novels are so obviously politically motivated and entertain liberal agendas and narratives. This alienates more intelligent readers. Maybe he shouldn't attach his name to such far left authors. To those "reviewers" who claim blowback has 'already happened' with the 45th pres.......look around and buckle up buttercup these last 2 years have been rough.....but I assure you it's bound to get far worse

This book is certainly thought provoking. There are a lot of characters but that is beside the story. It was exciting reading with many twists and turns. I was able to read it quickly because I really couldn't lay it down. It does make you think about our current position. Question to think about is, "Is this just fiction or is there truth in it?"

Blow back book by James Patterson. It was a thrilling book. One that you just don’t want to put down. It is long and unfortunately James Patterson does add in his jabs for his political party. Like I have noticed in his other books. You will enjoy this book.
